On the past 12th September, the children’s fashion boutique PAPOS presented its autumn-winter 2013 collection in its fashion show named “Viajamos por Europa” (“Travelling around Europe”). Together with several sponsoring companies, Papos organized this charity children’s fashion show supporting the FUNDACIÓN ISIDORA PERTUSA and its work furthering childhood.

The event took place in the fantastic Hotel Balneario Resort Las Arenas in Valencia. More than 300 people gathered there in addition to the almost 100 children participating in the show.

The volunteer hostess in charge of the event was the well-known TV presenter Carmen Alcaide, who entertained with her usual charm. Manuela de Juan owner and director of PAPOSpresided the show, together with Antonio Zaragoza president of the Fundación Isidora Pertusa and Cristina Zaragoza director of Fundación Isidora Pertusa. Furthermore, the ceremony also counted on the presence of several entrepreneurs and public figures of the Valencian society.

At 4 p.m. the assistants began to arrive while the young models were rehearsing. A charity raffle was organized with wonderful presents given by the Boutique Papos itself and the Hotel Las Arenas, among other sponsors. At 7 p.m. began the opening of the event with the beautiful voice of the soprano Carmen Avivar accompanied by the pianist Lorenzo Petri, which delighted both children and adults performing pieces like La Traviata organized and sponsored by De Matteis Opera Management.

The infinite generosity and professional nature of Manuela de Juan and her team was proven during the show, which was a great success. It raised funds set aside for the education projects that Fundación Isidora Pertusa is carrying out in the least-developed countries, but also in Spain -given the actual situation and the increase of poverty among children population.

The show was performed successfully. The collection was organized by countries; each group of children represented a country and a particular style hence the title “Travelling around Europe”.

At the end of the show, all the children received a present for their kind collaboration brought by the hand of the charitable company Art&Hobby that collaborates in every project of the Fundación Isidora Pertusa.

The act counted on the support of many companies that wanted to back the initiative of Papos and Fundación Isidora Pertusa, such as: Hotel Las Arenas, Grupo Marina Alta, Campo Seco, De Matteis Opera Management, Audioprobe, Animación Detotunpoc, Lola Garrido Peluquería, Isabel Segura Perfumerías, TEVIAN, Art&Hobby, Sekitos e Itak, hablemosdefallas, and radiouniverse.
